Un webblog entièrement consacré à la médiation communautaire

La médiation communautaire se définit surtout par son champ d'action, la communauté de vie. Entendez le terme de communauté non pas dans son acception culturelle mais bien territoriale. Le médiateur communautaire est donc un médiateur "généraliste" qui exerce son art au sein d'une communauté de vie restreinte géographiquement (un quartier, une commune,...). Il existe d'autres termes pour qualifier cette pratique : médiation de quartier(s), médiation sociale, locale, territoriale, médiation de conflits de voisinage, de proximité,... Le médiateur communautaire ne se limite, le plus souvent, pas à la pratique de la médiation au sens strict mais développe également des actions sur les plancs socioculturels et participatifs en coopération étroite avec les acteurs associatifs ou publics de terrain. Toutes les actions du médiateur communautaire tournent autour de la conflictualité, c'est d'ailleurs ce qui fait sa spécificité par rapport aux autres intervenants sociaux. Ljubljana, 7-8 January 2008

The year 2008 has been designated as the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue. Slovenia will, as the first of the presiding states in 2008, prepare the opening event of the Year on the Community level in co-operation with the European Commission.

It is our privilege to invite you to take part in this event. We will be honoured if you accept our invitation to participate at the conference and other programme events. We would be grateful if you could confirm your participation by 10 December 2007 through the Registration form attached to the Invitation or obtained from the website www.mk.gov.si (European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008). You will also find herewith attached Practical information, the Programme of the event and the content of the four sections as well as at the above mentioned site.

Professor fo Conteporary History in the Faculty of Political Science in the University of Genova I am very much interested in the items of the intercultural exchange and cohabitation of peoples of different cultures, because they are consistent with my studies. I am also planning on behalf of the Rotary Club an initiative for the immigrants in the Liguria region.
I will pleased to be informed of the results of your initiative and to receive by mail any possible documents that will come out from the incoming conference of January 7-8, 2008.
